The Group of Fibers and Surfactants of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Higher Polytechnic Institute "Jose Antonio Echeverría" CUJAE, jointly with the Horticultural Research Institute “Liliana Dimitrova” (IIHLD), Textile Research Center (CITEX), Union Research- Cellulose Production Bagasse (Cuba-9), summons to the celebration of the VI Symposium it has on than enough Natural Fibers, Integral Use and its applications, FIBRATEC 2010, in framework of the XV Scientific Convention of Engineering and Architecture of the Higher Polytechnic Institute "Jose Antonio Echeverria" CUJAE, that take place in Convention Palace in Havana City from November 29th to December 3rd, 2010.
By but of two decades, this multidisciplinary group investigates on the Integral Advantage of the agaves, in individual the fiber of henequen, cotton, kenaf and others with applications in the textile field, the industry of the paper and others, so that it was contributed decisively in the participation of the Cuban scientific community in these thematic ones directed to the environmental protection
OBJECTIVES OF THE SYMPOSIUM
This event is an opportunity to discuss and to analyze on the advances that in the whole world take place in relation to the development of the Natural Fibers, its the integral use as a contribution to the care of the ecosystems and its applications to different fields.
